This is a playlist created for one of our portfolio websites 469BCe.com. It is an example of streamed audio (created in-house) wrapped in a playlist that can be embedded in multiple websites. In this instance the source is SoundCloud but the EMBED code could be from any media provider. The playlist format is used to build a catalogue of related content. It could just as easily be presented as individual audio file like this one.
